Brands and Silverstone are a part of msv and offer free sound checks, static and then they will do the drive by with you in the car.

To anyone wondering I would suggest popping along and having a proper reading done. For what it costs in petrol and time could save a lot of money and disappointment on the day

cool cool cheers bud . its bollocks really seeing as most proper 300k race cars and 100k race bikes make 3 times as much noise as our ****ty subarus :lol1:

im sure the neighbours dont give a **** as 1 they probably moved there after the race tarck knowing the ****er was there lol

Its totally random on how much it will cost.
If you allow for fuel consumption at around 5mpg and check the track length you will know by how many laps you want to do how much it will cost.
I get through £200 to £300 worth

They do say you drink more fuel on stop/start journeys which leads me to believe you need to spend more time on the power and less time lifting and braking:razz::D

Am I right in saying there is no spectating at Bedford? Was going to come along but it might be pointless if I'm stuck in the paddock?! :wonder: :(

Pete- you've been, does this sound about right?

There are no stands at Bedford where you can sit and watch. The only place to watch from is the pit lane. But when we went everyone was happily wandering around although Javalin who put on the day were quite relaxed about it all. It may be different with another provider.
