Hi there,

Found this topic whilst looking for answers, and it would appear the VF28 will bolt on to a bugeye - feel free to take a look for yourself:

cheers matey, mines a blobeye not a bug but same difference i think

i thought i read somewhere that the vf28 uses different banjo bolts as its a roller bearing turbo so i would need somebody to confirm what i would have to do to fit it in place of my td04

whats the condition of it anyway?

smoke?
play in shaft?
crack in the housing?

what mileage has it done and what psi did you run it at?

cheers-matt

Hi mate,

Ah, silly me.. Lol..

Some answers to your Questions..

1. Its in Good Condition / Very Good Condition - and was only used with the normal setup and the 440 injectors (there is no one in Shetland who can do remaps, so both were removed).

2. There were no signs of smoke, or any play in the shaft when removed from the car (2 weeks ago). There was no visible damage, or cracks in the housing - but just to ensure this i shall take a second look tonight and upload lots of pictures so you can see it.

3. The turbo was off a P1 which had covered 38k miles. I know the P1 it came off, and was looked after like a child.. That's the only reason i bought it..

I hope this answers your questions, and like i say, i will stick up lots of pictures as soon as i get home tonight, approx 7pm.

Cheers
