Amir Khan
Whats your predictions?
I reckon he'll get dropped |
He looks like he has no confidance in himself, I think this will be his last fight and it will not go his way.

Sorted! :thumb: |
He was good, But recently I don't know whats wrong with him, Women maybe?? lol
|
i heard not long back that he got robbed by a few lads, apparently they slapped him and his brother about a bit and took his Porsche off him.
Maybe this has shook him up a bit? |
if he can resist the urge to get into a brawl he will do well, hes still a good fighter and young enough too. he just needs to remember that although hes a good puncher and fast you just cant keep pushing forward with someone whos also a good puncher and not expect to get tagged. ricky hatton made the same mistakes and walked right onto a peach of a punch from Manny Pacquiáo which finished his career. at least khan has went straight back to the gym unlike hatton who went on a drink and drugs binge then tried to comeback after 3 years of abusing his body against 1 of the best in the division and got beaten convincingly. manny did something similar against marquez after pushing the pace and was seemingly on top until that punch (which looked as brutal as the 1 he floored hatton with). im hoping he does well and wins the fight but he will have to adjust his style to do so.

Well, round 10 to Khan then. Maybe he'll make a come back after all.
|
yep he stuck to the plan, although there were parts in the fight where he looked like returning to old ways again but his new trainer was apparently shouting instructions throughout the fight. you could see the parts in the fight where he pulled back when a swinging match started and kept his chin out of harms way. hopefully he has a lesser fight to really get back to his best before the rematch he badly wants with garcia.

What he said^

Khan was in a completely different league to Molina. It took molina 6 rounds just to get used to the explosive speed of Khan. However the speed was there the power wasnt. the beginning of the fight i think he lacked power in his punches for 2 -3 rounds as he was goin for 3 jab combos. What was very interesting though is how Molina who likes to box tight and close to his opponent was losing out everytime to Khan. All in it was a great comeback fight that should have been ended in the 9th round because it was just one way traffic from there on in.
Rematch with Garcia i think everyone wants to see that! |
If he was to fight Garcia again now, he would his ass handed to him
Pity Molina wasn't able to punch, because he would have caused Khan a few issues. |
i agree, molina couldnt punch for toffee and was still catching khan on the way in. any decent puncher with a bit of power could have gave khan real problems. he definetly needs a fight inbetween going for garcia to really gel with his new trainer and take on board the ideas he brings (ie stop brawling and box cleverer and tuck in your chin ffs!)
|
Khan will always revert back to his old ways I think.
He relies on his speed and power too much. |
the thing is it worked well the way he boxed and he picked molina apart. ok molina wasnt much of a puncher but the tactics were sound. he needs to go watch some ali fights as that was his style. in,3-4 punch combos and out again keeping your chin safe. khan has the speed to do it all day long and will pick guys apart if he can resist the macho stuff of trying to prove he can take guys out.
