type 20 hatch

Hello just wondering if anyone knows this car. Any specific history on the car. Any info or comments would be appreciated. Ian Litchfield could not tell me too much for some reason :wonder: Thanks

If Ian can't tell you much that would be more than enough for me to walk away, maybe I'm being over the top but if the comp ay who designed and built it can't shed any light on it I would wonder what story lays beneath

It's not like Ian, but if your really interested just get it inspected. as long as it's not been in no knock it's got some tasty mods and a forged engine what more dya want?

Even if I was lucky enough to be in the market for one.
Especially when they were new.I think I just couldn't spend 40k with that level of quality & style.

Spoke with the previous owner of the vehicle today. Seems like a sound guy. He had problems with Litchfield regarding the engine works and them not wanting to pay out (something to do with faulty injectors :wonder:). Well cut a long story short he had a problem with Ian at Litchfield regarding who was going to pay for the engine work. In the end Litchfield's carried out a £5000 rebuild on the engine 2000 miles ago. So can this really be a bad thing?

That's exactly what I thought, if it was done by joe Bloggs then I would be wary. Also the chap I spoke to today was adamant he got his way with Litchfield trying to get himself out of the bill.

Go for it, would imagine the work to be warranted still.
