Type R wont start after changing DV

Car is 1998 Impreza Type R and has a front mount intercooler with a Baileys dumpvalve. Today Ive changed the Baileys for a Forge Re-Circ started her and and it run badly on tickover, really struggling for some reason (has been fine all other times before today) so decided to put the Baileys back on, went to start her up and its just the starter motor turning over and over, occasional trying to fire up, but ultimately its not starting at all.

Whats happened? Ive not knocked anything and everything is connected as it should be.

Really annoyed as its only a sodding DV change, something Ive done on previous Impreza with no problem.

Could be a vacuum leek.

Its got a Apexi PFC ECU with Commander.

I think it could be flooded or fuel starved, not sure how to tell if its either or how to correct either.

Id go with flooded. was the re-circ plumbed back in correctly?

Given it a few hours, but still wont start, just noticed there is a "cat on fire" light on during turnover, its not got any cats and also has a Apexi PFC Ecu. What does that light mean then? How can I correct a flooded engine or draw more fuel in if its been starved?
