clicking sound from fusebox 06 sti
 

sometimes the fusebox to right of s/wheel begins to make random clicking sounds any ideas why .does it need to fixed?

Relay?.

relay - there is a couple in/around the fuse box

Does your MY06 STi have a MetaSat system?
I had a clicking on the RB, every few minutes when the unit was trying to link to the network & it turned out to be the SIM in the MetaSat system. New unit fitted about 4 years ago & no clicking or problems since!

theres a sat nav but not metasat and it s only been recent .if it is a relay is that a problem? thanks for the reply

They are the ignition and fuel relays, I had a similar problem but mine got worse, turned out it was a dodgy earth connection.

Oh and yes it needs fixing, you will get all kinds of wierd stuff happening
