lightening quick response, thanks STEVE EX VAUXHALL, is the idle air controll the thing on the right rear of the inlet and the wastegate controll the brown solenoid on the drivers inner wing?

steve ex vauxhall 26 November 2012 07:34 PM

Mmmmm,
Not sure if yours is different to mine, mines a 99.

My idle control is pretty much in the centre on top of the engine held on by 2 small Phillips screws.

Not sure about the other one without going outside and having a look, and it's pi$$ing down mate.

Can look in the morning for ya though mate if your still stuck:thumb:

ha ha, it is here too, no worries, when you say in the middle of the engine, do you mean on the inlet? i think mine is on the right of the inlet,
what about the wastegate solenoid, is it the brown one on the drivers inner wing?
thanks,
phil.

Yes mate, bang slap right in the middle at the top on the side of the inlet.

Can't for the life of me think where the waste gate one is though:Suspiciou
