Its you`re purge control valve, Why would you want to remove it and what would you do with the 3 pipes after, I`m guessing its there for a reason mate so i`d leave it where it is.

Yes you can remove it if you wish mate , block the vac take off on the manifold ( or use for another purpose , vta the fuel rail pipe , but don't unplug the electrical connection because it will throw a code/cel , unless you have provision to sort the cel out
Deleting this makes all of the evap system redundant so you can do away with the whole lot if you wish

Like you're style , joined wires with a t piece thing lol

I would blank the manifold vac outlet and leave the pipes ( wires) to vent to atmosphere

With no Solonoid/valve you have no vacum control or opposite , it may affect running slightly

Why would you remove it??? will it have any sort of gain??? The clicking sound would just be diaphram inside

There is no gain whatsoever , most people delete it just to tidy things up
And get rid of some crap that scoobys seem bogged down with
I've got rid of that much junk after my reverse manifold it's Now a pleasure to work on

buzball 25 November 2012 10:07 PM

It was broken so ive removed it

Car runs fine and not removed it to gain anything
