NCD and Insurance problems?
Ok here goes,
I have had a Golf insured with admiral for the last year while I had work done on my Subaru (which was SORN'ed) Now I have the Subaru back on the road and insured with a different Company what do I do with the Golf as I am trying to sell it? and it is illegal to keep a car now that is not insured. will I have to insure the Golf with the same company as the Subaru as you cant have the NCD on 2 separate Policies? hope this makes sense.... |

the problem is I don't want to sorn the golf as i'm trying to sell it, and it still has tax and MOT. It's a ridiculous situation IMO. I don't drive the golf and it is in a garage.

what a pickle cant you sorn it and claim the left over tax back and then put in the advert will come with fresh 6 months tax?
|
but then you couldnt tax it because you wouldnt have an insurance certificate to show the tax office!
I dont think this new law has been thought through! |
Just buy temporary insurance for the golf. That's what I done with my clio 182 before I got my scoob. Admiral will do it, was only £38 for the month for me to insure with them.

Ring the company that insures the Scoob and ask the cost to add the Golf on temporary to that policy.
