Classic wrx with sti 4 pots Problem
Hey guys i have got myself some 4 pot sti brakes for my wrx as the brakes are pretty shocking anyway being abit dumb i didnt think about the wheels :brickwall as mine are stock wrx ones
So my question is can i get some spacers to make them fit if so what size ? maybe someone has done this before ? Or will i need the sti wheels so i can fit them cheers :thumb: |
I'm guessing you've an early WRX and the calipers have SUBARU embossed on them like these?
http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...ipersSmall.jpg These wheels fit over them http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...a009Medium.jpg and they can be picked for nearly no money. |
Or is it a later WRX and you have/want to fit Brembos?
In which case, afaik, you need STi wheels too:( |
new wheels would look better im sure but be careful to get the right offset and width.
some spacers will move the wheel out alright you'l want to check the length of the thread engagement on the stud afterwards though |
Myblackwrx your right , i need to find them wheels i have been looking, i want to stick to the stock look but have a few upgrades on the car :) thanks will get looking

Have a look throught traders on this site for bargains.
These 2 styles will definately go over 4 pots and are original Subaru wheels http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk...p?ID=100874159 http://www.japperformanceparts.co.uk...p?ID=100871065 |
