just heard he was sacked. unbelievable! what is happening to the world of football. There is no consistencey anymore in managers.
How could they sack him after last night, Chelsea still have a chance if they win the next Champions league game but it is a two way horse race as Shaktar need to win their game as well which is likely as they are beating everyone. If both Chelsea and Shaktar win, Chelsea goes through.

thinking about it - i think it may have not only been the result but Matteos team selection. Where are the spearheaded figures, Terry, Lampard, Torres (who came on as sub). Were Terry, Lampard injured or something

I don't know the ins and outs of it but it seems a rather rash decision to sack him.

Roberto has done pretty well I think. Seems as soon as you have a bit of a bad run you're out the door with Roman. He doesn't give them a chance to change things to try to improve it seems. :rolleyes:
