need help power problem legasy gt
 

i have nt long bought a 2001 (Y) legacy gt and am having problems with it cutting off power mid-high acceleration air intake sencor has been replaced as advised but still same problem doesnt work whether plugged in or nt makes no difference although sometimes car works n drives fine or it cuts power check engine light comes on its the auto with power button which as far as i can work out makes no difference apart from the green light being on can anyone advise what it may be and how to fix as its a lovely car when it works properly please help if you can much appreciated .. dhaggis

Check for error. I would say MAF sensor
