You would be much better using a rotated V1/2 inlet manifold its a better manifold.

Your probably right arch... Just didn't want the hassle of changing fuel rails and coil packs.... But an option I'll look at ..thanks
|
Fuel rails are cheap to get hold of and the coil packs are also very cheap you will regret it if you dont. There is some info on the problems trying to do what your proposing on my project thread. Been there and so have many others and its not the best way to go.

Hello mate,
In a similar situation I saw a reverse inlet on eBay but sold before I could bid anyway e-mailed the seller and they confirmed they could do one for me ! Now I was quoted £150 not sure if that is good or not but if you go on eBay and contact seller holly_bw let them know what you want they may be able to help you out the quality of their work looked pretty impressive. Not sure if it will let you as the auction has ended but this is the no 160919168014 if it does not work maybe quote that no when contacting them as it was a 92-97 model reverse inlet manifold. Cheers Kris |
Thats not a bad price for one that looks from the pics to have been done properly and to a decent standard.
The only real way to do a ver 3/4 is to cut the middle out rotate it and then weld it back in but not sure if the legs would line up. The problem you have with just rotating a ver3/4 is that the ICV is at the front and it creates clearance issues with the bonnet. You also need to change the angle that the throttle body mounts to by either making a wedge or some other method. http://www.carldavey.co.uk/product.php?id=14 Carl's wedge sorts that problem but doesnt address the ICV problem. |
