Seiko Kenetic Watch battery upgrade anyone here do it??

Anyone here that can do it for me at a reasonable price,My fingers are too big to attempt it, The watch is not worth much just sentimental as my Dad passed away last month and I was handed this, The jewelers want £85 to fit new battery, the kit 5M63 is only £11.99 on ebay, could also do with another link in strap too.

Thanks in advance

Pm me please

Steve

Pay the £85 if it means anything to you ... is my advice.

Pay the 85

Or pay the 11.99 then 60 quid in all the specialist tools and then hope you dont make a mistake and scratch it etc etc

Serioulsy though I have no idea how much the tools will cost, but I would just take it to a jewellers / specialist watch makers etc and pay them

Of course, you could keep the watch .... without battery, for sentimental reasons.

I had a kinetic (very sentimental) that was damaged when the face got smashed, I paid seiko via my local jeweller £135 for new bracelet/strap, battery/capcitor. best money I every spent, I have my watch like new and runs so much better, when fully charged will last nearly 3 weeks without wearing. result!
