Brake upgrade????????
Hi all,
My 2004 WRX PPP is currently running around 300BHP and I have recently fitted a set of HSD coilovers so I'm really happy with the way it goes and handles. What it is desperately lacking in is stopping power. I have the standard 17" wheels and wondered what people think the best upgrade options if I keep these wheels? I do want to use the car for occasional track days and the standard brakes, in my opinion are barely good enough for the road! Thanks in advance. |
Brembo's probably one of the cheapest, although you'd need to upgrade your wheels also, so about £650. But that is used.
Another option could be Godspeed 335mm kit, using your calipers, about 550 quid with your own wheels. |
Are you talking about the 'gold' brembos I've heard people talking about? Can you tell me what car they were fitted to as standard so I can search for them?

You will find the gold Brembo s on all STI s from the Bugeye onwards.
