Advice needed asap!
 

My cars engine is out cos i was doin the head gaskets and clutch. So while uts out i was goin to put my pink injectors and vf35 on! On a standard prodrive ecu.

My question is, my mate has a 04 wrx ppp which has spun a shell so thats gettin sorted this week. He has the same mods on his but his ecu has been mapped! In theory could i swap the ecu's and run my car til i go for my remap and switch my standard ecu back into my car?

The mods on mine and his are as follows;
Vf35
550cc pinkies
Walbro 255
Full 3" decat
Pannel filter
Ngk 7b
3 port solanoid
Sti top mount

Mines a 2003 wrx ppp, his is a 2004 wrx ppp

Also is there anywere in newcastle to get a good map on my car for £300 or under?

If you changed the boost solenoid, I would be VERY careful. U just changed my solenoid and had to dramatically change my boost map.
You could possibly be ok, but i wouldn't be driving too much on boost or WOT

Im planning on puttin a ecu in the car tbat had already been mapped with a 3 port on. Will tht be ok?

I would be very careful and drive only at low load until you could get it tuned.
