Newage Heater Controls - Green to Red???
 

I've taken my heater controls out to fit a black dash kit and I'd like to change the lighting from green to red.

Anyone know how?

Use the search and there is a guide. Not as easy as just swapping bulbs as there is a green filter over the backing which needs sanding off or you will get a red/green mix which wont work.

Dont think so , unless u get a second hand set thats already been done. Or u could buy a set and give it a go. If it works sell your old set.

Which dash is it, Beacuse my spec c did not come with any green tint on the centre console, I have done it in the past and it is not hard, All depends on the dash though.

Im sure there was someone on here that used to do them for you. He would have a set ready done and all you do is send him yours.

It's a 2006 Spec C with aircon. Same as any other hawkeye I think.

Would be great if someone would do these on an exchange basis - provided the colour matches the dials perfectly that is.

Send Dave-W a PM, He has the same dash and centre console fitted(ableit an S204 one) and he got his converted to match the cluster and defi`s by a guy in scotland and i believe he does them on an exchange basis but better to check, let him know i told you and he might still have the guys details :thumb:
