***RB320 REAR DIFFUSER GROUP BUY***

Hi all

I have been speaking with Luke and Simon from import car parts regarding a group buy on the RB320 rear diffusers they offer.

The diffusers are genuine Subaru items and retail at just over £160 direct from Subaru.

Import car parts have offered us a 20% discount on their list price if we can get 20 names who would be interested in this buy, they are advertised at £108.41 on their sight so with the 20% discount it is coming in at just over £80 (exact prices to be confirmed on number of orders) so that's half the price of that offered by Subaru!

We have still been offered discount for less numbers on the group buy, I think it's roughly 10% off for 10 orders, 15% for 15 orders and 20% for orders over 20.

This needs a start date and end date for the buy in order for import car parts to require the stock ( if over 20 orders ) so I'm just seeing what kind of interest this picks up before we set an "actual date" ;) testing the water if you like!

Any questions feel free to ask :thumb:

Here is a link to the item in question :-

Cheers all

Is this the one with the cusco bar to mount it?

Don't believe so bud here is an extract from the sight :thumb: hope it helps :)

Genuine Subaru RB320 rear diffuser kit. The diffuser is constructed from a high quality ABS plastic with a top quality finish. These kits make an impressive yet subtle change to the rear end of your Impreza whether you have a WRX or STI model. The diffuser tray also helps air travel cleanly beneath and out the rear of the car by stopping it getting trapped behind the rear bumper causing an unwanted drag effect. Installation is straight forward only requiring holes to be drilled into the spare wheel well to allow installation on most Imprezas from 1993 – 2007. Supplied complete with genuine Subaru fixing bracket & Bolts

(Please note for some aftermarket exhaust systems the far edge of the tray may need to be trimmed slightly to avoid contact with the exhaust.)

I ordered mine on Thursday and came today,
They are the real thing, look lovely ( I think people would appreciate a photo ),
I got mine for £100.

Dave Y 03 November 2012 10:35 AM

put me down for one as long as we get the numbers

zenith 03 November 2012 10:51 AM

martyp1970 can we get some pics of yours fitted? The single photo on the link in the first post makes the diffuser look a bit narrow.

I'd also be interested in this if we get a decent amount of interest. Is it worth posting this in the General forum too, as the recent zun sport grills and front splitter seem to have done really well?

I just got it yesterday,
Will get a pic up of the diffuser and dimensions.
Probably will not be able to get it fitted for another com of weeks though due to time factor.

mickywrx 05 November 2012 08:02 PM

They only used to be £75 is from Subaru, bloody inflation.

You guys are so behind the times. I've had one fitted to my classic since 2007 :p

Can just make it out in this pic;

Better one;

The Cusco brace is only needed if you don't want to drill holes in the spare wheel well, that's why it's fitted on mine.

You don't, you leave it in here, where all group buy threads should be.

Dave Y 10 November 2012 10:26 AM

any news on this?

T25 DOC 10 November 2012 11:04 AM

Craig I'd be interested in this.. :)

Dave Y 10 November 2012 01:23 PM

it seems to have gone quiet

Infected by sti 10 November 2012 02:57 PM

Very quiet tbh, thought there would have been a lot more interest :wonder: I just need to give import car parts the heads up on the items but as soon as I do the date for ordering comes in to play so what to do guys? Can leave it like this for say another week if you want to see if it does generate any more interest, and if not we shall just have to see what numbers we have and try to strike a good deal with them ;)

I don't mind waiting as long as everybody else don't mind either :)

zenith 11 November 2012 09:55 AM

I'm going to have to leave off buying one of these until the new year now, sorry chaps.
