thats a bit pricey for its age and miles. ive just bought an 03 307 hdi for a lot less than that and its on 103000, ive also got a c5 estate on 142000 and that drives more like its done 42000. i dont know much about the 1.4 hdi as mine are 2.0 (8 valve) and 2.2 (16 valve) but they both seem good reliable engines

Not sure about C3's but the 307hdi is not bad for a smoker, they do loads of MPG can be got for 800 quid for an 02 with 100k and while the interior buttons and plastic fall apart the engines are reliable and solid.
