Which coolant to top up ??

Hi guys.
I was taking off the turbo today and didn't block the water pipes which caused lost of coolant :-(
Current one is in green colour so my question is:
Can I use any other coolant or has to be the same ?
Would Halfords one (pink) will be good to mix with ?

Thank You

I have just used the pink one from halford, I belive they also do a blue one
But either should be ok

NO! Don't mix them, they turn to sludge, either stick with whats in it, or drain the lot and start again.

Used comma green in all my imprezas, best to drain the lot and refill, as said mixing two brands or worse 2 colours is not good.

Yep drain it all out and start again buddy, new coolant every now and then is a good idea anyway.
The Halfords red stuff is fine, I use it in my car.

Ok. Thanks a lot guys.
I wasn't sure about Halfords pink stuff because it says that can be only used on cars manufactured after year 1998.

I use Fuchs Pro Cool - available from Opie (and RCM, I think)...

Fuchs Titan Race Pro Cool Advanced All Season Coolant - 1 Litre

NOTE: It's already diluted 50/50 - so ready to use out of the pack.

For most cars its fine to use whatever coolant you can get your hands on, as a rule its not a good idea to mix different types of coolant tho.

Its rare but some cars like jaguars and landrovers have been known to require a special green coolant that is friendly (non corrosive) to aluminium blocks.
