hi there..I'm new to the forum just wanted a bit of advice. I own a 2005 Suburu sti with PPP otherwise it's standard. What are my options for more power and torque I'm looking around 330bph..any advice much appreciated thanks.

Hi there

I would suggest decatted exhaust and remap,with this you should have 330bhp at least


About the remap,you have two choices Open source or EcuTek,Open Source cost less and both will give you same result

Mappers would suggest Duncan@Race Dynamix for Open source and for EcuTek Simon@JGM or Bob Rawle@BRD

Being PPP'd you'll also need to get the ecu unlocked for opensource mapping or pay another Ecutek fee if remapped via Ecutek

Thanks for the replys..how much approx is it to have ecu unlocked and mapped? Also I love my cars reliablity will this be affected.

Price for Open source remap is usually around £350,for EcuTek is around £550 excluding the VAT

If you use Duncan the lock isn't an issue.
