As per title squire. Any update? It's a long way away but thought I'd get the ball rolling.

Sorry been busy.

Injun summer, your having a Giraffe..:lol1:....Dig out the thermals for this weekend. Meto are now onside for a nice wintery blast Friday onwards...Some White stuff will fall down the Eastern side of the UK.

I shall be at the Caravan for a Halloween party this weekend and we are quite high up, so maybe a spooky Snowman may be built. Precip out in the Noth Sea is high, so maybe .....Maybe a canny covering. depending on the upper temps.

John...Still piss mesel at the Spew..:lol1::lol1::lol1:

The chart's have been showing this for 2 weeks now. Almost nailed on..Meto had to mention it today,as it's within the reliable timeframe.

I had fun laughing at people this weekend, when they said it's going to be an Indian Summer...:D

No.:thumb: Think it's going to be Short blast of cold...Possibly end Tuesday. The PV has split and it's all over the place resulting in the cold blast, but could reform again.:D

TonyBurns 23 October 2012 12:15 PM

Getting towards that time for my winter tyres to be fitted then :D

SSTs are indicating a fairly "normal" winter for us, wet, windy and not too cold not too warm.

As we are in a neutral state now - its not probable that we will see a fast change that will have any impact on our winter. Give it another month or so - into early December and this becomes a lot more set in stone.

Its also looking, at the moment, like the neutral conditons may last into the summer. This may give a reasonable summer next year, but may give rise to possible impact of any drift in late summer 2013 for a bad winter 2013 - but thats a long way off yet.
