nyscooby 12 October 2012 02:09 AM

kevfawcett 12 October 2012 07:35 PM

awesome looking motor, out of interest what would a 400bhp scoob do a standing quarter in?

Depends on the driver, I've seen 440/450bhp cars doing mid 12's

Like I say, depends on the driver. Should be in the 11's IMO.

< Mine, albeit a classic.

samben 13 October 2012 12:30 PM

very nice mate! pretty much what im aiming for but in a black blob!

mind if I ask what induction kit (other than the filter) and oil breather can you have got?

sam

nyscooby 13 October 2012 05:29 PM

induction. 3" pipe into the wing then a 9" KnN filter.

oil tank.. generic. but with fatter pipes. import car parts sell them.

my intake temp is 10c lower in the wing than before in the engine bay.

2c above ambient outside temps...

kevfawcett 13 October 2012 05:54 PM

Maybe see you around when I'm over visiting my Dad then. Car looks really nice mate, bet it goes well too

nyscooby 13 October 2012 10:01 PM

Tx Kev. Go see www.NESF.co.uk

mickywrx 13 October 2012 10:48 PM

Be wary about going through puddles or deep water. Last thing you want is your engine ingesting water.

tubbytommy 13 October 2012 10:51 PM

awesome i have the wing induction too, but how come no fmic??
it looks like there is a hole in the bumper where it was.

GoML-STi 14 October 2012 03:24 AM

nyscooby what is that intercooler it looks ****e. Why did you remove the front mount intercooler ? Why do you not reply to PM ?
Do you still have the vf35 for sale that I offered you £300 for or not. My friend is desperately needing one for his ibiza.

Mickywrx how many puddles do you see sat in the middle of the road ?

nyscooby 14 October 2012 03:41 AM

I have received no PM. I do not have a VF35 for sale.

"that intercooler it looks ****e" yeah, i agree, i'm gonna take it off and get a better looking one for sure.
