You could but I dont really see the point, do you know what they are ratio'd to? its higher than a 5 speed box

Tony:)

Ratios will be lower if it's jdm

I'd leave 4th alone, I'd just go for 5th and 6th
Tho in all honesty, when your out having fun on back roads, even 5th might take a little joy out of it!
6th gear might be enough just to lower revs on national roads and on motorway runs?

personally, I find that there is quite a gap between 4th and 5th. Anyone else? you have to be really going some in 4th before you go to 5th, or else I find you get a bit of lag that you don't see in 1st to 4th...

As said though, it's not often that I am going quick enough to get up in to 5th. 4th will take you to over 100mph...

JDM's still ratio higher than a 5 speed box ;)

Sorry got that arse about face JDM are high ratio!
For info.
I'm at 3500rpm at Motorway speeds in 6th nothing like as high on the old 5 speed.

It's not as simple as just the gear ratio you also have to consider the final drive. I could be wrong though and it could be subjective looking at the top speed calculator...
