Blu ray is simply a media format, why would I want to carry a machine that spins a disc with me when it can be recorded via solid state then burnt onto a blu ray disc via a pc.

A HD camcorder is what you need. :thumb:

I've been ill for quite some time, so was not up to speed with technology.Anyway enough of the dribble, you can now make your own movies in blu-ray.Hitatchi make their own, but that is the only camera i have seen.

It's simple, this is what I use:

Panasonic Full HD Camcorder - http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_G...615/index.html

Records onto a 32Gb SD card (over an hour of recording even in full HD). After filming remove SD card from camcorder, insert into PC, record video to Blu-Ray with burner (you can even edit it before committing to disc).

Reality is I don't even do that, take the videos off the card and copy to my home server, watch HD video I made on the smart TV.
