IHI V34 How much would you sell it for?

Hi

I have a couple of Turbos a ihi v34 and a highbred v34 done by Cr turbo rated to 400bhp

These a genuine not Chinese copies

Haven’t really kept up to speed with turbo prices as I’ve been messing around bikes for a few years.

LongJonnyGspot 04 October 2012 05:35 PM

Interested also. What sort of mileage have they done.

Andy Redz 04 October 2012 11:22 PM

There brand new .
Never fitted or used.
Bit late out of work so will have pics up tomorrow evening in the forsale section .

bustaMOVEs 04 October 2012 11:26 PM

If there brand new never used, I would ask more money tbh, phone a well known supplier for advice if I was you.

L.J.F 05 October 2012 08:49 AM

Do you have any pics mate? Also how did you come by these units?

I just had a read through your intro thread and you say that you are from the Audi and Vee dub scene, with your only experience of a scoob being a 40 minute drive in a friends car which makes me a bit apprehensive about buying a supposedly new and pretty hard to source turbo from a new guy who claims to have two.......

Sorry for being suspicious, we get many people on here trying to pull scams and I don't want to be going through the hassle of a Paypal dispute or see a another person robbed of their hard earned cash.

P.s- very interested in the uprated version if you can provide pics that these are legit:)

Andy Redz 05 October 2012 03:46 PM

I Totally understand

Bit of back ground in the past I have tuned a fair few dubs and had 1.8t conversions on Golfs and Corrado’s
I always use www.jabbasport.com turbo upgrade’s and they use IHI turbo’s on their manifolds hence my stash of turbo’s
I found Track days rather expensive in the car compared to my bike so switched for err.. 7 years or so

But after losing a few friends I’ve decided to knock riding on the head for a bit

Rather than making a slow car fast id rather buy a fast car.

Handlings important to me hence my conversion to a Scoob and being a old school kind of guy flat 4 engines appeal to me to

Jp @ www.jnlracing.com and vouch for me to as engine builder and good friend.

Here's a bit of his work :

Pics will be up later

Keep it for your own scoob upgrades. Mad to sell unless totally surplus to requirements

And would rather spend the cash on a good base for now ..

Wont be modding for a little while just enjoyning the new car lol

Yes Im a turbo whore

VXRT 05 October 2012 06:55 PM

Not mucking up your sale at all here mate but are they scoob fitment or just VF43's. As there is a completely different housing for scoobs than most other cars. In fact most cars hosings vary. I could pull out 4 K04 turbos i have laying around that look completely different. 1 from a VXR astra, 1 from a leon 20v, 1 from and vo and the other from an R56 mini upgrade.

LongJonnyGspot 05 October 2012 07:03 PM

Where are you based?

Thanks for collecting the vf34 (standard ).
Good chatting to you. After our chin-wag I might just keep the hybrid.
Cheers Mark.

clanhome 07 October 2012 04:51 PM

Hi Andy
Really pleased with the vf34 if I had an STi I would have gone for the hybrid but 400bhp would be too much for a WRX......Looking forward to getting it fitted and tuned then trying my car at around 300 hp !.
Great to meet you and your brother if you keep the other turbo let me know how the tuning goes.
All the best Mark

Hi Mods

Can you lock this thread please.
As Clanhome & Wildthing suggested I'll now be keeping my hybrid for my own project ..

Thanks
