You would something like 40mm spacers to get the standard fit wheels out far enough lol!

banny sti 03 October 2012 10:30 PM

They are £200 new

That's what I thought

Arch 04 October 2012 03:09 AM

The post is to sell them not to debate what wheels etc they need to fit them or the additional costs etc.
They are around £200 new if available. I am open to sensible offers on them.
Think I may have to start looking at a few peoples for sale items and commenting on them, in a helpful manner of course.

prodriverules 04 October 2012 10:56 AM

No need to get like that Archie I didn't ask you to say I could have saved time and weight with your composite panel but you still said it ;)

Arch 04 October 2012 11:11 AM

ah I see what its all about now. You were not selling your panel and it was a genuine point that a double skinned alloy panel is heavier and potentially less strong than a composite panel even if bonded together. Which incidentally could be bent the way you have bent the alloy.

Suprise me clever clogs

Arch 04 October 2012 12:04 PM

your posts are not welcomed or wanted Banny so jog on and hassle someone else who may have an interest in conversing with you I certainly dont!
This is a for sale thread for a set of ABW arches no more no less.

So you are assuming I posted because of your comment now then?
Not at all, I know matt and was just pointing out that large offset wheels are also required to go with the arches incase he didn't know.

On the panel,I wouldn't agree that a composite panel would be stronger than 4mm thick alloy and why would I go to the hassle and expense of dealing with composite to which I have no one local who could work with it when I get alloy panels free of charge plus the bending free also.

Arch 04 October 2012 12:51 PM

You were the one who reference on this thread back to your project thread about a totally unrelated comment so its not unreasonable to make that assumption. Why have a project thread if you dont want people to comment? Retorical question.

As I have said this is a forsale thread for the arches.

prodriverules 04 October 2012 01:03 PM

Because you we're the one that acted like people can't make a comment on your forsale thread!!

winston69 04 October 2012 01:36 PM

Nice weather today isn't it

Arch 04 October 2012 06:37 PM

OK guys will remove these from sale on here there is no point trying to sell them. So no longer for sale!

I have noted the reason for having to do this! So thanks to those concerned it wont be forgotten.

prodriverules 04 October 2012 07:03 PM

I will say it as straight as possible as you seem a straight talking guy arch, lose the attitude and perhaps it won't happen again simples.

I honestly thought better of you with previous dealings with you mate.

Arch 04 October 2012 07:21 PM

It wont happen again dont concern yourself about that and what i dont need is a lecture.
The thread is dead as is the sale of the item .

Arch 04 October 2012 07:25 PM

I would also say the same about you Ryan. I thought better of you but hey life is one big learning experience.

prodriverules 04 October 2012 07:29 PM

Not a lecture just some friendly advice arch, take from it what you will.
