I bought and fitted 3 anti judder pink boxes this year (for mine, my brv's and a mate) skimmed all of the flywheels (1lightend 2standard flywheels ) and got all 3 from mark @ lateral, top fella .
all 3 scoobs are running around the 350 mark without any issues

fawor 24 September 2012 06:11 AM

Aztec has offer 30 off on clutches ,the best bet was at scoobyworld with 3h labour free when their parts used.

martin850 24 September 2012 06:28 AM

Are scoobyworld still doing that offer??

fawor 24 September 2012 10:47 AM

Surely ALL Clutches are Anti-Judder Clutches?

Do they actually make Judder Clutches for a particular market?

ScoobySteve69 24 September 2012 12:21 PM

Aztec.

rickya 24 September 2012 12:23 PM

Lateral every time

DEANO1988 24 September 2012 12:40 PM

i phoned up scoobyworld last week, the offer ended on the 14th for free fitting, i dont think it was extended and was told they are booked up for a couple of weeks.

Ive just bought the 5speed pink box from aztec as it was the cheapest i could find.

some of the early Exedy pink box cutches used a fairly aggressive lining (still available under the original part number), how ever they have remade them with a more refined "anti-judder" plate which tends to be the norm these days...........

So should be ok for me as I'm not far past that figure.
Couple of things -

- I've currety got a fidanza lightened flywheel on, must that have some work before fitting new clutch.
- what's the price on one of these clutches delivered mate ?

Thanks.

Aztec Performance Ltd 24 September 2012 04:36 PM

Depends on the condition of the flywheel. If your clutch is currently slipping then it will probably need skimming if there is enough meat left on it.

If the flywheel doesn't have any high spots on and is in good nick you may get away without a skim. You won't know really until you inspect it.

Will PM you a price :thumb:

MattyB1983 24 September 2012 04:41 PM

Cheers.
My flywheel is in pretty tidy condition as inspected it a few months ago while fitting new box.
Current clutch isn't slipping at all but am doing another box swap in a couple of weeks so tempted to throw a clutch on too.

tubbytommy 24 September 2012 04:44 PM

is the power limit different on the six speed as it bigger??
whats that rated for?

Camskill I've found have the best prices as well being very good service wise. :)

My (standard) 5 speed clutch has just started to slip in high gears/load and the uprated Exedy (pink organic? - anyway correct next one up) is £260 at Camskill. Haven't seen it cheaper elsewhere and I'll use Harvey on here to fit when bought.

MattyB1983 24 September 2012 05:10 PM

What's camskills prices ??

Thanks for that reply .... I'm just wondering what they do to make them 'Anti-Judder'?

Is it a material change? Maybe a softer make-up which grips quicker/stronger?

stockcar 24 September 2012 07:54 PM

totally different material from the original set-up, differently sprung also

redwards 24 September 2012 09:36 PM

Lateral for me. Great after sales service as well.
