am i crazy spraying engine parts gold?
 

Hi, in in the middle of changing clutch and gearbox on my scooby and also have the inlet manifold, alternator, intercooler and various support brackets off the car. I want to tidy the engine bay up and spray these various parts up, i have had an idea to spray them the same gold and as my alloys, see pic below. What do you think? mental or cool? my brother says cool, dad says mental and mates are about half half.

Then on the intercooler i was going to spray a gold STI logo. I though about spraying a couple parts black such as the water header tank part.

Dont do it, Gold has had its day in the engine bay about 10 years back, Engine and block silver, The rest black and red if your going to do it IMO
