hi guys is it true that im ok to use a dump valve on my sti without any fueling problems bore wash ect with a simtec ecu anti maf just that iv herd that all problems caused is down to the maf sensor air and fuel mixture due to the maf? iv just put one one and i get my simtec on thursday by jgm just wanted to no some facts that all!cheers for any advise

original equipment manufacturer, i.e. a subaru recirc valve in the case of this thread

Brayden, im normally the first one to stand up and shout the corner for OE dump valves, but if your running mafless (and i think reading through your shocking grammar and text speak thats what your saying), you can dump the air wherever you fancy with no ill effects!

If your still running the maf, an aftermarket dumpvalve that dumps to atmosphere rather than recirculating it to the pipe between turbo and maf is the only way to go!

And if thats the case, a standard OE valve does just as good a job as any aftermarket one.
