looks great mate! what software did you edit the photo with?

b16msu265 05 September 2012 06:42 PM

Wheels look good And makes the car look smart but sorry if I say that splitter IMO is rank. But it's only my opinion. Try not to hit the humps but u will be sorted in the snow lol

bioforger 05 September 2012 06:53 PM

Splitter  nice HDR shot though.

mfarrell 05 September 2012 06:59 PM

Yep....i'm not sure about it either now i've fitted it, but cant get rid of it now!!! It isnt actually as low as the black lip from HT Autos, but is a bit too much i agree. Here it is without the lip:

Looks different, very aggressive:thumb:

tubbytommy 05 September 2012 07:33 PM

nasty...................

wr pete 05 September 2012 07:38 PM

Nice car, no offence but that spoiler is just not right mate.

mfarrell 05 September 2012 07:41 PM

Seems to be the common theme here, will look at getting removed. Wasn't sure and that's now proved it was bad call.

Live and learn I guess

bioforger 05 September 2012 08:28 PM

At least you can see that. Most people who do something wank to their cars, just say, why be the same as everyone else  :)

mfarrell 05 September 2012 08:36 PM

That's where i went wrong, originally wanted something subtle and discreet, hence the black lip. Then decided wanted something different and it was way more then looked in the picture.

What are people's views on the chargespeed bottomline kit?

wr pete 05 September 2012 08:54 PM

I'd personally stay away from all those type of kits mate, car looks good in the 2nd pic, maybe lower it a bit thats all, thats just my opinon though, its up2 you what you like on your car and if you like it then go for it

mfarrell 05 September 2012 09:09 PM

Ok thanks Pete. Think we are all agreed be best to remove the splitter so will start there!!

Razorwrx1 05 September 2012 09:32 PM

Different mate! I've seen worse Splitters, what's its like from the front.

mfarrell 05 September 2012 09:54 PM

Like this:

Doesn't look too bad from the front! On the side view there seems to be too many lines if you know what I mean. Doesn't follow the car or side skirts! Still like it from the front ;)

mfarrell 06 September 2012 07:59 AM

That's because i could only get hold of the front lip, side and rear i was going to do next month when next have few days off. This is the fully installed kit http://www.bodykits.net/front-lips/s...mpreza/171711/

Are we saying it would look better fully complete? Or still a no no?

nardoblue 06 September 2012 08:48 AM

Do you fancy selling your ht auto lip....please.

mfarrell 06 September 2012 08:52 AM

I was going to, but judging by the feedback I may end up selling the JP one instead and going back to the HT Auto one. If I sell it you will be first to know

nardoblue 06 September 2012 08:55 AM

Cheers buddy....you can email me on gsx1100e@sky.com

B4D HK 06 September 2012 09:17 AM

leave it as it was imho :) looks like a nice motor

billy21 06 September 2012 09:21 AM

Still a very nice car. Like the back lip an spoiler looks really nice to me. Maybe detango the lights to blend abit better. But I'd be happy with tht anyhow

Matt23 06 September 2012 09:55 PM

Lovely looking car mate, but a big no to that splitter. Love the wheels BTW.

dirtybarry 10 September 2012 10:52 PM

love the pics

mfarrell 11 September 2012 05:50 PM

Thanks Barry

Think it's coming off though. I do like it from certain angles, don't think the pic i posted helped, not as big as it looks there, but it does need the skirts and rear doing too as well as bit of other stuff to get it looking right and don't think i can afford to it right now.

Will be up for sale if you are interested?

Well that all depends how much I can get for it

rb5 286 12 September 2012 08:02 AM

if you're not too sure about it, can i suggest this:

http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b1...titled-2-1.jpg

satin black the bottom of it, will stop it looking so 'in ya face'

and maybe lower it

GIBZY 12 September 2012 01:29 PM

Looks much more subtle with the lower lip in satin black.

Yeah does look good and would fit in with other plans was looking at. Got set Tein lowering springs cheap so the car will be lowered as well. Will give bodyshop a shout and see what he can do for me

Nice one!! Had a chat about it at the time, but didn't think of that particular style. Works really well
