Yes the car is a daily drive, only 9 mile each way to work and i only do
a 3 day week.So plenty of time to keep on top of it.

Yes the colour is Crystal grey metallic it's like a gold/silver,i love it personally.
I had it road mapped by Andy Carr to check everything was as it should be engine wise.
It got a little more power in the process over the standard PPP,it's running around 330/330.
Other than that it's bog standard.

Thanks for all the positive feedback :thumb:

Cheers

Someone said this on the UK Scoobies site. Not really sure i know
what you mean  .Is this were you tint/darken the head lights to make them
more suttle, same with the amber indicators.Seen this done in the RS MK1 focus,
but the head light has to be split and they never seem to go back the same,
i.e condensation. But i do agree they need to be darker.

Removal of the orange plastic inside the lamp. There's loads on here who have done it and even think there's a 'how to' somewhere. Use the search button at the top and see what comes up.
Deffo looks 100 times better after its done.

when you split the light, reseal it with waterproof sealer and it will be fine.

Very nice that mate... Mind if I ask what you paid? Or pm if your feeling shy ;-)

Hawkeye D 05 September 2012 08:46 PM

Billy 3, your TMIC looks like stainless steel? Mine looks like dull aluminium, have you just polished yours, or is it a stainless one?

Osimabu 05 September 2012 10:05 PM

Great work, smashing looking car.

What did you use to clean up the engine bay so well please?

Sorry i don't know what you mean by TMIC but everything steel or shiney has been rubbed down with a scotch pad then polished with auto-sol.

I will have a look in the How too's regarding the de-tango.

Again thanks for all the comments.
