New engine what oil grade
 
Getting a new engine any day now from matt Poleposition it's a sti8 bottom end with phase 2 heads what grade oil Is the best for this setup.

I'd go for a 5w-40.

Out of those, the best ones are the Fuchs/Silkolene Pro S, Millers CFS/CFS NT, Motul 300V, Redline and Gulf Competition. The Motul 8100 X-Cess, Millers XFS, Fuchs GT1 XTL/Supersyn, Shell Helix and Mobil Super 3000 are good, cheaper alternatives.

Many thanks I have some 10w60 shall I bin that and use one of the above

And I didn't put the top end is a my00 and bottom end a sti 2005

Yes, a full synthetic.

No need to bin the 10w-60, put it on Ebay.
