Todays Jobs

Well, todays jobs are just a couple of teeny tiny things to get sorted lol....
Pull the engine out and replace the rear crank oil seal and reseal the oil separator plate, then fit a new clutch :luxhello:

Whats is everyone else on with today with their cars?

I'm going to give the calipers a lick of paint and a rear diff oil change I've been meaning to do for a while.

Thought I might drive mine to the local Shell robbers and hand over a stack of cash for a tank of V Power - if it doesn't rain :)

Matt23 02 September 2012 10:44 AM

Might give her a wash and coat of wax sealant.

M444GY 02 September 2012 11:00 AM

drink beer :) had the engine out of mine yesterday

AdeWRX 02 September 2012 01:50 PM

Woohoo all done and dusted yesterday.
No more leaking oil for me  :top:
Clutch was in a bit of a state, no wonder it was juddering.
It turned out to be the oil separator plate that was leaking, so that got resealed, the rear oil seal looked ok but seeing as i was there anyway and i had a new one i changed that.
Oh, and there was a snapped bolt in the clutch cover plate too that had just been left, so i sorted that out aswell.
Bloody cowboys, wish they'd leave stuff alone

Was meant to have a mate help me but he turned up hungover and was pretty much useless lol, so ended up doing it all myself anyway, had no choice.

1 step forward 2steps back for me today

Got my drivers doorcard how i wanted

http://samuelellis.co.uk/gallery3/va...g?m=1346529000

but the headunit facia i made went wrong so i have to start that from scratch tomorrow as well as try and finish the passenger doorcard

The doorcards and headunit need to be in ASAP so i can see if the bodge repair on the torn metal in my sub box will hold through to the end of the meet on the 8th

AdeWRX 03 September 2012 01:40 AM

Is that your 'Walled' Mondeo Sam? Looks like it could be slightly loud that lol. Good job though, i like it.

samuelellis 03 September 2012 01:43 AM

yep thats my funbus - like i said i hope the bodge on the sub enclosure holds because i cant really afford the steel and welding needed to fix the sub box properly at the moment
