Right folks! Here's a map and some basic info!

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/36481366/ConnorsDayMap-v4.png

Or, to save to your computer; http://dl.dropbox.com/u/36481366/ConnorsDayMap-v4.png (10MB)

It's recommended you print this off and take it with you, the marshals will only have limited number of copies on-site to hand out ;)

you could always organise a meet of your own in your area and raise some donations, that way you would be part of the day :)

This is a good idea for the people that can't make the venue, get on your local forums and arrange a day together

SUBKAR 07 September 2012 12:11 AM

Just had my pass and the RTOC passes from Will300.

Just wanted to make it clear for the marshalls that it is "RTOC" (Renault Turbo Owners Club) which is printed on the passes not "R5 gt Owners" which is written on the list - did not want to cause any issues on the day at the entrance point with the name on the passes !
Thanks

I'm bringing some members from astra owners network. We are on the list. Are we supposed to have a car pass?

It would help yes, if you can get printed or make yourself with paper and pen like astra owners and 1/20 2/20 etc.

OK. We now have an official site for donations! Sorry about the confusions, we just wanted everybody on the same page.

http://www.justgiving.com/Connors-Day-2012

Please visit and donate. Remember, every little bit helps. We have shown what the world can do to organize a car show, now lets see what we can do with the show to help a great charity!

This is a different page than was set up before? Was it really necessary to have 2?

It is to stop all the confusion for certain members getting the credit for this event, this way the whole family can get the credit instead of particular person(s).
It's only fairer to stop issues arising with family members.
It's the same site and same charity, so I don't see an issue.
Hope you all understand this as interfloral has been with us on this from day 1 and has showed the publicity needed. Via us snet members helping Scott as he is a member of this site.
Thanks

I take it I just need to tell the marshalls my forum name and my number on the list when I get there?

Paul O 07 September 2012 08:49 PM

hi folks,

I'm bringing the Supercar Driver club. We've got 20 cars on the list, but around 15 will be attending in convoy, possibly with some later in the day depending on the time the event closes.

Whats the deal with the passes please? I've not had anything through - how do I get one for my guys? :wonder:

Cheers!

szabon 07 September 2012 08:51 PM

to those organizing the event:

I got this email and wanted to get some permission before I gave him permission. Does anyone have an issue with this guy selling shirts and donating the proceeds?

Hi Zippy,

I just read about the plan for Conner's day on jalopnik and I'm truly moved by the story. Based on the press, you probably quite busy right now.

Anyway, to be brief, I am a partner at a new (very small) US based company called blipshift. We sell auto-themed t-shirts online, one at a time. I was just thinking that maybe there is a way for us to support your efforts by selling a Conner's Day shirt online for a week starting tomorrow (online only, delivery a couple weeks after the sale ends). All proceeds would go to your target charity. This may also be an alternate way for those located in the US to support your cause.

If this sounds like something you'd like to do, let me know and we can go over some details. We could move relatively quickly on this. Whether this happens or not, I my thoughts are with you and your family.

Best regards,

Joe
