There's an add-on board for all classic variants. Newage has it as standard of course.

Dave Y 25 March 2017 06:55 PM

It was sent to Alcatek to be sorted. So hopefully everything will be good.

Dave Y 25 March 2017 07:00 PM

Apparently it's been altered to run two cam sensors.

AlcaTek can modify their ECUs to cope with most variants you can come across...yes, ECU needs to be sent back, which can be a bit time consuming, but can be done.

Syvecs, of course, is more flexible to start with but is more costly.

Dave Y 25 March 2017 08:44 PM

My wallet is in agony already without buying a Syvecs setup.

Good luck Dave, here's hoping for no issues and you get the power that you're hoping for from the engine. 👍

Dave Y 31 March 2017 11:40 PM

I just went for long drives a couple of nights after work and spent the weekend just going out for the day on both days, it'll soon pass if you can find the time to put the miles in.

Dave Y 01 April 2017 08:26 AM

i am away in the truck Sunday to Thursday/Friday so i dont get a lot of spare time.

Ask the six toed gentleman to do the mileage for you, he'll soon rack up the miles for you. I'm sure he'll assist if you pay for the fuel.

Dave Y 05 April 2017 09:58 PM

Hopefully the mapping starts tomorrow now the ecu has been accessed.

BrownPantsRacing 05 April 2017 10:06 PM

Cool. Bet you can't wait. Long road to get to this date.

Dave Y 06 April 2017 12:23 AM

It seems like it's taken forever.

Dave Y 06 April 2017 06:10 PM

Off to collect my car from TDR in the morning running in map is sorted. Then i have to do 1,000 miles running the car in. I am tempted to take a few days off work and put some miles on it.

CharlesTuna 06 April 2017 08:44 PM

Woop woop! Bet you can't wait to pick her up?

Those 1000 miles seemed to take forever when I ran mine in, unfortunately I couldn't get time off so had to do it before and after work. Go for it Dave get that holiday request filled in!

Dave Y 07 April 2017 02:36 PM

Just got back from TDR.That Tomei system is LOUD. I cant decide if its too loud.Watch the for sale section.

Dave Y 08 April 2017 09:10 AM

went out this morning and fired the car up,that exhaust is very loud !!
I do like a bit of noise but this is a helluva lot louder than the Afterburner vortex that was on before. So what do i do now buy another system or put up with this?

Fai17 09 April 2017 01:47 AM

The tomei is titanium right?

Will be gutted to sell it.

Yes it's Titanium but loud

TimH 09 April 2017 11:36 AM

Is it titanium all the way to the downpipe? If not (as wouldn't want to spoil the titanium if it is) then you could have a resonator welded in to the centre pipe maybe?

Dave Y 09 April 2017 02:41 PM

Titanium all the way and 3"

Fai17 10 April 2017 05:46 PM

Hopefully it'll quieten down with a bit of use.

Dave turn off one of your hearing aids, problem solved. :lol1: :D :thumb:

Seriously though as Tim has mentioned look at getting a resonated centre section fitted.

Dave Y 10 April 2017 08:35 PM

I will ask the bearded wonder.

Dave Y 10 April 2017 09:47 PM

Anybody know where I can get a Titanium resonator to weld in ?
