Rebuilding GC8
 

Hi Guys,
If anyone could help this would help me out big time!!
i own a 1997 wrx/sti gc8 import that has bend a rod and done the crank in :cry:, i have got hold of a descent 2nd hand crank and rods and replaced all the shell bearing, but its now come to the stage of putting it all back together, so as anyone got any links info on a stage by stage rebuild torque settings all that good stuff, iv got some info for a uk mode, but would this be the same??:wonder: i know the imports run slightly higher power.

hi mate i have just rebuilt mine and torque settings are the same as uk. if you go on you tube and type in damien joyce subaru engine rebuild he does a step by step guide i found quite helpful. good luck with the build hope this helps
