450bhp tyres
 

hi people what would be the best tyres in your opinion for a 450bhp classic subaru.it has cheap tyres on there at the moment but as the new engine goes in soon want some good tyres on there i have used yokohama prada spec 2 but not sure if they would be any good with that power.i have been looking at r888 but as i wont be doing any track days just road driving been told these wont be my best bet so though i would ask for your opinion on it

Conti Sport Contact 3 or Dunlop Sp Sport Maxx Is what I've used on mine and found both to be excellent in all conditions.

tried a few makes over the years (Goodyear, toyo etc) and these are worth the extra money

I really like Bridgestone RE050A's for the road. The RE070's are really good in the dry and make a good track tyre but arn't as good in the wet.
