Hi All

The initial rush for the ScoobyNet clothing has calmed down now as most people have what they want.

This means that it is going to cost too much money to stock the wide range.

For this reason we are going to have to remove them from the shop http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif (which is a shame as I really like them).

Another alternative is to reduce the range down to a couple of colours and about 3 items.

But if we do this, it will still mean a commitment which we could do without.

The final alternative is to bring out a new range for 2001 and we can all get some more!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Simon

PS. If you do want some of the clothes that are in the shop now (

Simon, seen as it is obviously a problem to stock them the whole time, might it not be a case that they could be in the virtual shop with a countdown until the next order, once every 4/6 months, so that people could order whenever they want, yet you are not held into maintaining a stock?

If not a new 2001 stock would be fine with me, just don't make the same mistake as Subaru and make this years stuff hideous http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Hi Robertio

Great idea about the virtual orders, but...

the only problem with that is this...

We would either have to take the credit card payments at the date of the order, or have to risk that people may change their minds when it comes to crunch time. Neither are very good http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif

LOL - re: hideous! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Cheers

How about taking a deposit? Enough to 'focus the mind' and stop any silly cancellations, but not sufficient for people to think you've got a lot of their money for several months. Say, £10-£20?

You should sell the clothes with our names on them.

Although Blowdog might not get into church with his on his shirt.

That would be http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/cool.gif if poss Si! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Im sure the demands will be met for polo shirts and the like with summer on its way http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Simon

Is the order that i placed recently still going to be ok?

Hi Chaps

The personalised clothing is a definite possibility, but would be expensive..

if enough people are genuinely interested it would be worth doing.

One thing I thought of..

We could do baseball jackets, and you could have your bbs name across the back in a big arch with the scoobynet logo in the middle! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

LOL

Let me know... I'll organise it if enough people want to do it.

Paul
No mate, of course not http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif Nothing will affect existing orders. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

All the best

Simon

Baseball Jackets http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/rolleyes.gif

Look, for risk of looking like something out of Ferris Buellers day out I would prefer a subtle RonaldoH on a polo shirt so I can get away with wearing it in a street and not having people shout out "OI! BUDDY HOLLYS' KID BROTHER! NICE JACKET!"

chuckle.
