Boiling sound...

Hi all,

I have a yr 2000 UK Turbo.

For the last few months now I've had a random boiling sound every now & then coming from the coolant sytem.

I have hardly used the car for around a month now, but after a steady 20 mile drive today I heard it again...

Since hearing the noise for the 1st time a while ago I have kept a check on the coolant and it hasn't lost a drop, the temp gauge stays steady and the fans operate as should & I have checked this via my ecuExplorer.

Any ideas ? :wonder:

Cheers in advance,

Does it sound like running water? If it does it could be the heater matrix behind the passenger side dash, If so chances are it could be a small airlock.

+1 bleed the system through the header tank and top up if needed
