Best place to insure me on a classic shape turbo?

Hi im 22 been driving 4 years, have 4 years no claims previous cars owned include blobeye gx sti rep, Ep3 civic type R etc.

Im after a policy with low milage as it will be only used now and again as i have a van also. limited to 2k miles a year.

the car im after is a Classic shape impreza, import or uk 2000 would be standard power.

Have tried gocompare etc cheapest ive been quoted is 2300 quid.

any ideas? im 23 in november if that helps.

Thanks mitch

I've tried to get insured with them on a standard 2000 uk turbo 2000 saloon or wagon, with no mods, i'm 21 and had 2 previous impreza sports (gl and gx), and they will not insure me... well for less than £4000. Maybe the trick is to use there import/ modified insurance rather than just the young driver insurance?

What's your secret?
