stock boost on a sport shift 4eat
 

hi all..
im new here...
as far as i understand , JDM and EDM almost share the same specs..
i just swapped to a fully stock JDM EJ205 4EAT with sport shift...
i noticed if i drive around on D and push the pedal to the metal , i only get 6 Psi of boost...
but once i change to sport shift.. i can get up to 12 Psi of boost .

is the car ECU actually programed to do this ..? or is there somthing wrong with my setup ?
