push button start wiring
 
hi guys as above i have a wiring diagram for my car well i thought it was but my barrel has
black/white
black/green
black/blue
black

and does not match the diagram at all just after some help on what the wires do i need to connect to
i need ign live and starter

You'd be better off with a circuit tester, the type with the bulb inside and turn the key while touching the contacts otherwise someone could give you the wrong colored wires and then it would all go wrong

Bugeye Impreza.....

The colour codes for the ignition switch AFTER THE FIRST connector (B72) are:-
Battery Supply - White
Accessory - Yellow
Ignition - Green
Starter - White/Black


You are probably looking at the wires that are soldered direct to the switch and are not shown on the wiring diagrams as they are classified as part of the switch. You need to check the other side of the first connector (B72).

Sorted now there was a blue plug and the colours then changed to the ones on the diagram thank for the help cheers
