bee r rev limiter - poor mans launch control?

hi all

i've been looking at the bee r rev limiter for a launch control idea. so i can get away nice and fast every time from the lights. i've googled this to death and i find some people say keep away and some say its good. i know simtek or gems have l/c and a/l but i'm poor :freak3:. i know the this limiters are used on drift cars to stop red lining in a drift.

my aim is to just wire in the 2nd dial with gain (the 1st gain noob will not be wired in so the remap rev limit on the ecu would still work?) then too a push button so when at the lights, push and hold the button down, bring up the rev's, lights go green, let go of button and pull up clutch.

what are people thoughts on this and any one running one on a subaru?

thanks

Wouldn't it be cheaper if you learnt to launch the car properly yourself?

They do make boost stood still that's for sure. They also like to create flames! As with anything, not safe to sit and abuse it, but occasional use not holding more than a few seconds, and ensuring that you're not sat bouncing it off the limiter, and they're fine.
