MY03 engine problems??
 

I've read a couple of times that MY03 engines were prone to letting go around the 60k mark, something to do with crumbling valves.

Is this Myth or fact?

If fact then was it something common to both the WRX and STi engines?

Must admit in my searching (WRX) I have seen a few late bugs and early blobs with engine rebuilds, coincidence?
