Anyone running 400bhp or there abouts on v1 heads????
 

Just trying to see if anyone has got to the 400bhp mark with these heads with surporting mods?????

Don't know if the box will handle it tho

400 is fine on v1 heads not ideal as there are better ( v3 / 4 sti heads ) but none the less they will work but are not much good just past that figure

Got a later,754 box to go into it,

Your on a fine thread running that power with any 5 speed box, no doubt the 754 box is better but still wouldnt trust it running 400hp

Yer,have spoken to Api about a custom built 5speed so need to deceide wheather to just bang the box in and see what happens or get a built one,,

there are again people running 400 on 5 speed ty754 , i tried this with less than 400 and it didnt go to well to say the least , 6 speed or built 5 speed

Think I'm going to stick it in and see what happens,if it does go bang then I'll get it rebuilt,
