6 speed gearbox on V4 type r
Hi guys
I have been saving up for a 6 speed so i just wanted to know what is needed to do a full conversion on my V4 Type R. I know that i will need the box and matching rear diff, propshaft, rear drive shafts that all i know. What about the front driveshafts? Can i use my driveshafts? Hubs? Can i use the existing ones? I confused and need help please. Thanks Shaks :thumb: |
minimum youll need is uk 6 speed gearbox, linkage, prop and an r180 3.54 diff .
This will let you use your own hubs and shafts. |

scott@scoobyspares Cheers mate i will get in touch with you soon, is it better to go for a DCCD box? |
it depends what your after buddy me personally i wouldn't bother fro a road car unless it is a track focused car, the price above is delivered aswell which is £65 on a pallet so if your would like to collect it will be £1630 ;-), we do have a 2005 version 9 type uk dccd gear box/set-up the same as mentioned above to fit your type r £2200

Cheers Scott, no the car will be road car and just few 1/4mile runs not a big deal.

better of with non dccd then, save a fair bit of money as well. I have a non dccd box in my 98 wrx with built 2.5 and 20g and it does the job no probs
