mini cooper s brake prob?
Just thought i would write up on here as my mate got a prob a rear brake seized on his mini he replaced with a new caliper changed rear disc s pads bled the brake caliper now sticking on again. Any ideas? cheers rob

Yep the rear flexi hose may have collapsed not allowing fluid back up the pipe. I had this before but not on a mini

Il have a look tomorrow it's make a squealing noise when he driving but goes when brakes?

if it is just squealing and not binding (road wheel turns easily/freely) then, thoroughly clean the caliper and copper grease on the back of the pad should do the trick. if the disk is lipped (has a protruding top edge due to wear) then the pads may just need to bed in but the copper grease should help.

So does the wheel turn freely? If it does then its not seized and as above
