Rear Arch Repair Panels For 98 Type R

Afternoon all

We are trying to source some rear outer arch repair Pannels if such things exist?? They are for a 3 door 98 Type R V-Limited.

Any body ever found any or bought some?

Also toying with a wide arch kit :wonder: if we cant source the repair panels so any good recomendations for one?? want it to look tidy if we do go this route so dont want some silly effort of a body kit if that makes any sense to you all.

Any help, advice, links to other projects would be appreciated, have found a couple of images of cars with the wide arch kits, some which look better than others, which is why im asking opinions on it, i know alot of it comes down to the painter and fitting of the kit but at the same time there are some kits that just never look right on a car IMO.

Cheers
Craig

Yea i seen a picture of a grey one with them on and dished gold rims looks very smart imo, if it came out as good as that i think he be a happy chappy!

Bit poor really tho the fact you cant get repair pannels, you can still by mk1 nova panels lol :wonder: my mate has just bought all the rear inner and outer arches for one!

I think they can be bought or used 2 at crazy money! So it just wasn't cost effective... It is true that u can use the front wings for rear replacements! The front passenger side does the rear driver side and vice versa...

Ill look the thread up here.:thumb:

Be careful of fibreglass parts: the differential expansion rate means they are more likely to crack at the joint than not:(

done on mine only the flat part going backwards and about 10 inchs of the curve can be used :thumb: 4door by the way must be the same for 2 door as the rear quarter looks the same
