Anyone got any suggestions on where me and the girlfriend can go on holiday for 7 days early next month? Ideally somewhere warm and sunny.

We are after a late availability deal and are looking for suggestions. I have looked all over the web and nearly every holiday is going to either Turkey or Greece somewhere where I have already been and want to go somewhere new.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Darren

Hi there it depends on what sort of holiday you want but if you want to relax try the Maldives it is the best place in the world, but very little night life well none at all but it is the only holiday I have ever had where I didnt think about work for one second and REALLY didnt want to come home.
It is a little far to go for one only one week.

You can fly to Sardinia for about a hundred quid via ryanair, hire a car and you can spend a few days in Corsica too!

Malta is nice.

Both my recommendations are hardly Ibiza though, if thats what you are after.

Maldives and Sardinia both sound good. I'll also bear France in Mind.

I'll have another hunt around and see what's available.

Cheers

If you want to relax and do plenty of water sports but not much else then PLEASE go to the Maldives as you will never forget it
PLENTY of sun and very easy to tan ( or burn) as you are very near the equator.
When I say not much else to do it is because the Islands are so small that you can walk round the average one in 30 hour or less.
most have tennis courts snooker tables etc etc
A little entertainment at night and plenty to drink,if this sounds good to you then book it.
Try not to go to far down the atoll as the marine life is far better further up (not to far up)

hope this is of help to you(lucky git)I cant wait to go again but a new baby puts a stop to this sort of holiday for a while.

Ps landing in the seaplane is great fun

There is only one place to go *** DUBAI ***

We've just got back and will never go anywhere else again (if we can help it). Stayed at The Jumeirah Beach Hotel, absolutely out of this world, can't stop telling everyone about it :D:D

Maldives are excellent but they're just going into the rainy season for the next couple of months (don't believe anyone who says it only rains in the evenings)

Mauritius?

Go to Ibiza but stay in Ibiza town/Salinas/Santa Eulalia/anywhere on the East coast is lovely.

We're off to Madeira for a week next month. We've been a couple of times before, an excellent Island to visit. Not the place to go if you are looking for a beach holiday but has plenty of other attractions.

Neil.
